Sellers are solely responsible for preparing, packaging, and dispatching their items in a timely and secure manner, and they are expected to use reasonable care to ensure that shipments are properly labeled and protected during transit. Once a seller ships an item, the full risk of loss, delay, theft, or damage transfers immediately to the buyer, regardless of the shipping method used or the condition of the item at the time it was sent. SecondSwim does not guarantee delivery timelines, carrier performance, or package handling, and it does not intervene in disputes involving lost, delayed, or mishandled shipments. Buyers understand that shipping carriers operate independently of SecondSwim and that any issues arising during transit must be addressed directly with the carrier.
Because SecondSwim functions strictly as a resale marketplace, the platform does not offer shipping insurance, delivery guarantees, or carrier‑related protections of any kind. Buyers are responsible for monitoring tracking information provided by sellers and for ensuring that delivery addresses are accurate and secure. SecondSwim is not liable for packages delivered to incorrect addresses provided by the buyer, nor for packages marked as delivered by the carrier but not received by the buyer. All items are sold and shipped on an “as‑is” basis, and buyers accept that any damage occurring during transit remains their responsibility. This policy operates in conjunction with SecondSwim’s strict Return & Refund Policy, under which no returns, refunds, or replacements are offered for any reason, including shipping‑related issues.
