Refund policy

SecondSwim operates as a resale marketplace in which all items are sold strictly on an “as‑is” basis, and by using the platform, buyers acknowledge and accept that all sales are final. Because SecondSwim does not own, inspect, or verify the condition of any item listed by sellers, the platform does not provide, support, or permit returns, refunds, exchanges, replacements, or credit under any circumstances. This policy applies universally to all transactions, regardless of the condition of the item at the time of purchase, shipment, or arrival.

Buyers understand and agree that they assume full responsibility for the condition, quality, and usability of any item they choose to purchase. This includes accepting the risk of undisclosed flaws, wear, defects, sizing discrepancies, performance issues, or any other characteristics inherent to pre‑owned goods. Buyers further acknowledge that they remain fully liable for any damage that occurs during shipping, any damage present upon arrival, and any damage discovered after unboxing, inspection, or use. SecondSwim does not intervene in disputes regarding item condition, nor does it evaluate or mediate claims related to damage, misrepresentation, or dissatisfaction.

Because SecondSwim is not a party to transactions between buyers and sellers, the platform does not issue refunds for any reason, including but not limited to items that arrive damaged, items that differ from buyer expectations, items that do not fit, items that do not perform as anticipated, or items that appear materially different from listing photographs or descriptions. Buyers are encouraged to review listings carefully, request additional information from sellers when needed, and make purchasing decisions with the understanding that all risks associated with condition and suitability rest solely with them.

Payments processed through third‑party providers are final once completed, and SecondSwim does not reverse, modify, or challenge charges on behalf of users. Any disputes related to payment methods, bank charges, or card processing must be addressed directly with the buyer’s financial institution, though such disputes do not alter or override SecondSwim’s strict no‑refund policy.

By continuing to use the platform, buyers affirm that they understand and accept this Return and Refund Policy as a binding condition of all purchases made through SecondSwim.
